Inu x Boku SS - short review

Image
Inu x Boku SS seemed like a pretty cool to start with but despite only being 12 episodes, the middle of the series felt a bit bland, However the super cute ending was what made it worth the watch.

Miketsukami Soushi is hot but he was a bit too much of a doormat, I always though having someone obey your every whim would be fun but watching him made me realise that people are more interesting when they show passion for their personal desires.

In contrast Ririchiyo was more of an interesting character because I think I empathised with her introversion and inability to express her feelings in the way she wanted. As the main character, you get more insight into her personal thoughts throughout the series, whereas Soushi remained a mystery for quite a while. He was much more likeable towards the end when he gained more of a personality.

Karneval - Adorable boys everywhere!

Image
The boys in Karneval are all so cute! This anime has a monsters and mystery element to it, resulting in some creepy and violent scenes to contrast with all the pretty characters. From train heists, to crazy experiements and secret organisations... I'm still not sure where this show is going but I'm certainly enjoying the scenery along the way!

The following scene just screams "fujoshi, please exploit this for fanfiction!"

Spring 2013 Anime - Mecha

Image
This current season of anime has been awesome for mecha fans. There's 3 mecha shows I'm following and they are all pretty good. (And just to add to the mecha mood I'm also currently watching Gundam Seed).

Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince
The worst team in a pilot training facility "Team Rabbits" manages to get a mission and succeed in their first real battle but the team faces public ridicule when they can't maintain their winning streak. This is probably the most light hearted of the three shows. The character designs may look familiar if you are a Gundam fan, as they were done as the same guy that did Gundam Seed.

Kakumeiki Valvrave
A highschool facility in space is attacked by terrorists until a lone student fends them off in an experimental mecha that costs the pilot their humanity. Got quite deliciously violent in just the first episode! Made by Sunrise studios of Gundam, Code Geass and Escaflowne mecha fame and has the Code Geass writer on board. 4chan are he…
